What You’ll Need to Provide

Our Basic Accessory Pack has all the items listed below, or you can choose to use your own:

  • KV260 Power supply and Adapter (12V, 3A)
  • MicroSD Card 16GB or Above
  • USB-A to micro-B Cable
  • 13MP Auto Focus RGB Camera (AR1335) Module
  • Ethernet Cable
  • HDMI Cable (for connecting to a monitor)

Use of a USB keyboard is optional. Instead of an IAS AR1335 camera module, you can use a USB camera/webcam. The Starter Kit also has a DisplayPort interface if you want to use it instead of HDMI.

To begin, a computer with internet connection and with the ability to write to a microSD card is needed.

Important: Critical Firmware Update Required

  • To enable complete board functionality, compatibility with latest Operating Systems, and best performance, be sure to install the latest AMD provided boot firmware following the firmware update instructions available on the K26 Wiki
Ubuntu 22.04 + Ubuntu AI Demos - New
 
  • Enable a desktop-like experience without the need of connecting to a laptop/PC. 
  • Access to rich set of third-party software libraries in the Ubuntu community.
  • Run the latest of several accelerated applications from the App Store to evaluate KV260 running Ubuntu.
Additional Embedded Developer Assets and Resources
